"Texas Hybrid"™ pen blanks are the original wood/resin hybrid blank, all else are just copies!.  These blanks are made from beautiful, unique varieties of wood native to Central Texas cast in resin in a process that we developed!  Unique varieties of Texas wood that is too beautiful to throw away but also not sound enough to make a pen are cleaned and processed and then cast under pressure with urethane resin in various colors.  The end result is a wonderful wood/resin hybrid blank where nature has been enhanced by man made materials.
