How ironic you just sent me this email. I just finished hitting the send button on a few questions I had regarding the cactus juice that i sent through your web page. I have used your product in the past and was very satisfied. It may be user error this time, but I am having a difficult time with the curing process. I recently purchased 1/2 gallon of the cactus juice. The activator bottle was less than half full. Is that normal? Once I mixed it , went through the vacumn process, and the cureing process, it did not crystalize as it did in my previous project? Any hints or advice would be appreciated. Thanks

TurnTex's email option for out of stock items is great.  It really works and is convenient.

I've purchased two items now that were originally out of stock when I went to order them online.

I received the email as soon as the items were back in stock and it's great that TurnTex holds the inventory

I had called customer service to try to figure out how I managed to activate my cactus juice while stabilizing. The person I spoke with spent quite a lot of time trying to help me and explaining the process to me. In the end, he sent me a replacement gallon of cactus juice and a couple dyes at no charge. This is a great company that cares about their customers. 

They sure look better in person, then they look on you tube. I would recommend the

Alumilite Glow-In-The Dark Powder and Alumilite Pearlsecent Powder.

This is the first time I have ordered anything from TurnTex and it won't be the last. very happy with the service

Great product, a bit of a learning curve for an old woodworker.

I've been using cactus juice for 3 years stabilizing mammoth ivory. With great results. I just started stabilizing turned bowls with the same good results. Follow directions and I have no issues.

I am new to the Wood Turning and Resin Casting World. I have been watching YouTube Videos of the well known Wood Turners and Resin Casters of the community and they all point to Cactus Juice Stabilizing Resin and TurnTex.  I have ordered multiple times now from TurnTex and although they are a small operation, they shipped to me fast from Texas. Their products are great, from the Cactus Juice Stabilizing Resin and Cactus Juice Dyes.  I just recently ordered 2 vacuum chambers which will be a week or two as Curtis builds them from scratch. Many of the youtubers point too Curtis and his Vacuum Chambers for use with the Cactus Juice. I can't wait to start using them. I have dyed and double dyed some pieces of wood and can't wait too do more. Thanks so much Curtis and TurnTex. I will continue too do business with you.

I haven't had need in doing any stabilizing until recently and had tried other "tricks" to make the old junk wood usable.  It worked on the slightly damaged wood but nothing was working on the pieces I really wanted so I turned to TurnTex and Cactus Juice.  The wood from an old pecan tree that grew next to my grandparents has a lot of sentimental value for myself and my cousins and would have been lost forever without Cactus Juice. Thanks Curtis, y'all have a new customer that will be a return customer.

This is my second purchase for stabilizing liquid and my first Alumilite casting. I heard about wood stabilizing years ago and decided to give it a try.

I build pool cues and also turn pens and other craft. I really like the Cactus Juice and stabilizing container. Fairly simple to use and the videos help too.

For pens and turning projects I am one of  a few turners in my area allowed to turn a very local wood from the Garry Oak tree. A lot of the wood needs stabilized due to spalting and deterioration.

Again it is a great product.

I'm pretty new to stabilizing wood, but Cactus Juice has been great for my turning blanks. I recently got some spalted Beech that was on someone's burn pile, cut it up, dried it, and then stabilized it with Cactus Juice. It turned like a dream. Love this stuff.

Dont have a clue what all I am doing with my chamber but me and the kids have loved the trial and error. Lots of people to help us along the way. Need to sit down and watch a few more videos. Didnt bake long enough on my first cast. That was a fun and funny disaster that me and my children enjoyed. Thanks again for the great product and the advise. Would recommend you to anyone. Just received a 4"x14" vacuum chamber, a gallon of Cactus Juice, and a ton of dyes. I am very excited to start stabilizing! The vacuum chamber is of top notch quality. Very solid, very good workmanship.

The instructions that came with the equipment were very clear, well written. I also appreciate the help section on the website. I feel very prepared as I embark on this new project.

I have also read other feedback of excellent customer support (until midnight on weekdays? Wow!), so I am comfortable that if I have a question I will be able to get an answer.

I purchased. 6” vacuum chamber and some Cactus Juice, communication was outstanding, they kept me informed if the shipping plans, the unit was individually verified before shipping.  Quality is excellent and any questions are answered.

I played around with the cactus juice with a friend who helped me to save a punky piece of burl. In it's natural state it was unusable. After stabilizing with Cactus juice I will be able to turn a beautiful bowl. I found Curtis to be helpful and responsive to questions and the website is full of good tips and info. I'm now a loyal customer and look forward to purchasing a stabilization chamber in the future. Ordered supplies and more juice from TurnTex, great service, fast shipping and I sent a message to get an extra bottle to store colors, and I would gladly pay. Got the extra bottle at no charge.

Also, called Curtis on using Part B Alumilite Slow that was about 2 years old, and the consistency of heavy goo. His suggestion of warming in hot water was the trick. Got 100% use of the resin as a result.  Great service from a  man who knows his business and our hobby better than just about anyone. 

I also used his chamber for degassing a little silicone, perfect. 

Highly recommend his products, services and supporting his business whenever you can, I do.

I recently placed my 1st and 2nd order with turntex! Shipping was spot on - very fast. I feel this is a down home honest company. Don’t ask me why I feel that way - I just do. Maybe it’s because I see Curtis respond to A LOT of questions on forums I read as well as how often Zac mentions this company on his videos as well as live feeds! I purchased some alumilite and cactus juice and couldnt be happier with the price and shipping. Actually the whole experience was great!  Will be ordering again when i need more! 

Have been buying from TurnTex for atleast 5 years, Always pleased with products. Shipping is awesome, quick and affordable and i live in middle of nowere Alaska.

I like to use drift wood and some types of tree bark for making pens. The colors and patterns you get from these materials is incredible. A lot of the drift wood

is very soft and some times breaks apart in your fingers. Cactus Juice gives me the ability to work with these materials and turn out some incredible pens.

This is a great company and great product. I had some Cactus Juice that had sat around for 2 years and was no longer hardening.  I contacted them and bought enough hardener to bring it back to life!  Thank you so much. 

Cactus Juice was delivered within the time frame given. I use enough juice to cover the blanks entirely plus about an inch, weight the material down or provide some method of keeping the material from floating. I pull just under 30" Hg and have been having good success when keeping vacuum on continuous until no bubbles or very few very small bubbles are visable and then shutting off the vacuum and allowing the blanks to stay in the jusice for double the hours under vacuum. I use a gram scale and toaster oven to bake the blanks dry by roasting the blanks at 200 degrees and periodically check weight until the blanks are no longer loosing weight, letting the blanks cool before submerging in the juice.

This is the only product I will ever use for stabilizing. Works exactly like it's supposed to every time, customer service is excellent. Shipping is expensive but that's not their fault. This is a great company, and I'm happy to support them.

Recently tried to get Cactus Juice in Australia without sucess at all. Contacted Turn Tex to see if they had other surpliers in Australia. Curtis told me he could supply me direct. The online order went super smooth and the freight from the US to Australia was reasonable. Curtis ensured everything went smoothly his end. I got the two bottles within a week and a bit.
