I ordered my Cactus Juice yesterday and with the holidays I wasn't expecting it for several days.. I received the email that my order had been received and then an email letting me know it had been shipped. I was shocked when it arrived today, less than 24 hours after ordering it.. Excellent service..

I recently ordered Alumilite, Alumilite dyes, and a bottle of Cactus Juice dye.  The owner of the company emailed me to make sure I understood the Cactus Juice dye would not work with the Alumilite and offered to remove it from my order and send a refund if, in fact, I had mistakenly ordered it. He was less worried about the sale than he was about me potentially messing up my project. This is how a business should be run. Thank you, Mr. Seebeck, you have earned a customer for life.

I am new to the stabilized wood area but have been using epoxy resin for some time. When I placed my order, it was processed within hours and arrived in less than 2 days. Barely enough time for me to read all the the incredible documentation on the website. The information there was invaluable for a successful outcome. So much so, I ordered more and was again pleasantly surprised at how fast it arrived.

I had previously used another 2 part epoxy resin cor my woodworking. Now I will be using the products from TurnTex due to their superior service and quality of products. 

I appreciate the quick shipping on my order.  I am even more appreciative of Curtis and his crew being supportive of the symposiums.  Always good to see them at SWAT.  Great product, great serivce and good people.

I remember when Cactus Juice was first introduced.... snake oil or legit solution was everyone's thoughts.  The initial investment (vacuum chamber, vacuum pump, Cactus Juice resin, and then an oven to cure it in) may seem like a lot when taking a gamble.  Fast forward 15 years and now it is no longer alchemy, but a proven repeatable process that is straight forward with minimal effort.  Maybe you haven't even realized that you've already been using the product.... turned any pens recently with store bought pen blanks.

Do you have a punky piece of wood sitting on the shelf in your garage while you ponder a may to salvage it.  Do yourself a favor and just go ahead and buy 2 gallons (get the price break) .... because after you use it the first time you will be looking for anything and everything that you can stabilize and now use! 

Getting great results from cactus juice, they get orders out quickly and quick shipping, I have purchased twice and will continue to do so.

Just getting in to the wood stabilizing world and fortunately ended up at Turntex. Order arrived faster than expected considering the holiday season and everything looked perfect. Have yet to out it to use but expect to as time allows. Support and instructional material offered by Turntex ia top notch. 

I have started making knife scales as a retirement hobby and have used Cactus Juice for two years now to stabilise wood for the scales. I have obtained some beautiful wood from trees I have cut on my property as well as some provided by a friend who worked at a small sawmill. The woods are a mix of solid woods, live edge, and slightly wormy and spalted. I was very satisfied with how the scales have turned out over the last year with Cactus Juice. I have recently purchased another gallon to try my hand at some more varied scales by adding epoxies to the scales. I did try some other methods I saw on youtube, and have found Cactus Juice to be far superior to anything else, in hardening the wood, enhancing the beauty, and ease of use. I highly recommend this product for any wood hardening needs. As a side note, my grandson, who is too young for a real knife to carry, wants me to just polish some of the wood scraps so he can have them to carry.

I've ordered multiple times from TurnTex -- Alumilite Resins, Dyes, and Cactus Juice.  The products all work great and TurnTex's delivery timing is fast.
The site is easy to use and the check-out process is straight forward with many shipping options.

I've asked for guidance via the help email and received very applicable and timely advice.

I will only order my Resins and Dyes from TurnTex, and of course Cactus Juice too.

Just kidding dont actually drink it. Just finished up stabilizing 20 lbs of burl blocks with cactus juice and thus stuff is absolutely great. Just make sure you follow all of the directios! I have more burls to process and more juice orders coming soon.

Per usual, I placed my order around 9am and it was in the shipping process by 11am the same day. Received my gallon of Cactus Juice within 7 days. It works great for my hobby of stabilizing wood that I use with resin to hand turn shift knobs on my lathe. Thanks Curtis, you always impress.

I recently acquired a couple of Yellow Birch blanks that were beautifully spalted, but very punky.  I used Cactus Juice to stabilize both pieces with great results.  It takes a couple of times to get the stabilization process fine tuned, but the results are well worth the wait. 

It's rare a good product can actually be improved but cactus juice has been.  New formula is great, much less foam out and leakage with curing.  New dyes work way better too. Great job!!

Curtis provides great products with a personal touch.  It is the way all businesses sho7ld be run.

Finally settled on alumilite as my first true resin for making blanks, my first blank proved I made the right choice, 1:1 mixing makes my life easy. My first blank turned out awesome! Thank you Curtis!

Shipping was fast and I found the homepage to be full of useful information. I got quick response from owner when I had questions regarding my order.  I have yet to use the products but look forward to doing business with these guys in the future. 

artist mediums come and go but for me alumilite is the real thing to work with.  the results are the best i have ever seen. the moment i pop the lid off i know if it worked or not.  worthless wood theory is in itself a challenge but the goal can be easily achieved if you know what you are doing. in resin there are fast and then there's nothing.  for me the castalytic response is the real method for the art.  the method of pour and splash or even spatter the colors together make what i'm referring to. it's easy and fun despite what people say.  if you are going to use wood you should always wear gloves and cook the wood to dry it out!  i wear gloves until it's been cast and then and only then do i stop touching the wood with gloves.  as for turn tex these guys are the true inspiration for my work, some say "they" are the originators but i stick to my guns and buy from turn tex!

Cactus Juice is my go to for stabilizing handle scales, great product, fast shipping and i've never had a issue with the product.

Cactus juice has been a great addition to my toolbox and allowed me to take some of the most punky and spalted wood and turn it into beautiful works of art.   I see other copycat versions of stabilizing resin on the market, but it does not have the proven track record and customer support that Turntex provides.  Before I purchased my first batch of cactus juice I spent hours reading through the help section and it gave me a clear understanding of how to do it right and then Curtis was very helpful in filling in the blanks as I went through my first few batches.  Love the product, love the customer service.  Also, always get exactly what I ordered and very quickly.

TurnTex is my go to for alumilite.  The prices are great, the selection is excellent, but the most important thing to all of us is customer service, and theirs is superb.  Curtis is an absolute rock star when it comes to making sure his customers are well taken care of.  I have had nothing but amazing experiences with TurnTex, and always recommend them when someone asks about a product they sell.  If you're thinking about purchasing a product that TurnTex sells from somewhere else, just buy it here.  You won't be disappointed.

I've been using Cactus Juice and the related dyes for several years in my small woodworking business and they have always has been outstanding products.  My average annual use is about 15 or more gallons per year so I have a bit of experience working with it.   The revised, less foaming formula is great and allows me to start a new batch of woods quickly with less concern for initial foam up toward the top of the vacuum chamber.  I've gotten to know Curtis through personal contact and a week long stabilizing / casting class and his knowledge and expertise has been invaluable.  Some of my best selling items utilize stabilized woods which would not have been possible without the use of Cactus Juice and his other products.  Just as important, Curtis is a wealth of knowledge and is willing to share his experience, so if answers to questions are not immediately available on his FAQ page, he's always been quick to get back to me.  While there seems to be a growing market of companies offering wood stabilizing resins, I doubt many can provide the personalized service and expertise available from Curtis and his Turn Tex company so I'll continue to be a loyal customer for life.
