I have ordered twice from Turntex, both times my orders were exact and arrived fast. The service doesn't stop there, the help center is full of helpful information. I will continue to buy from them.

I only purchased the Cactus Juice and some dyes. The products were delivered quickly, which I always appreciate. I have only tried the clear Cactus Juice on a single test run. Everything worked exactly as expected - probably because I read and followed the clearly written instructions. I will definitely be coming back to buy more, every time needed.

Received my new 36" vacuum chamber and cannot wait to get it installed and sucking air. The professional quality of the product is not matched by any other chamber either hand or manufactured. I think he even removed any fingerprints, looks so good I almost don't want to get it dirty. (:  The shipping was above what was needed and everything arrived in perfect order. You might have to wait a while, but the chambers are of such HIGH quality, I will not have to worry about any defects or a warranty.

Curtis and TurnTex came HIGHLY recommended to me and I cannot be happier with the service.  Very quick shipping and excellent product. My first experience with TurnTex was great!  I only ordered some dye.  It arrived quickly and was well packed.  My greatest compliment is what I have learned from Curtis on IAP and watching his videos.  I just started casting Alumilite.  Curtis' videos and post on IAP made me comfortable enough to do a 3 color poor with Alumilite, and it was a success.  Thanks Curtis for the great service and the great educational videos.

I recently purchased a vacuum chamber to treat wood blanks for knife handles. My first purchase was from another manufacturer that told me the Cactus Juice was the reason the top cracked during the first use. While looking for a solution I ran across the Cactus Juice web site opened the chat line. The owner replied to my chat and then asked me to talk on the phone. He reviewed the photo and told me of all the testing he has done on poly carbonate. He spent 30 minutes explaining the process of wood hardening and truly understands customer care. I bought a vacuum chamber from TurnTex and have completed two batches of knife blanks. Effortless and they came out beautiful. If you are buying a vacuum chamber to treat wood, TurnTex is the only choice.

I have worked with Curtis, owner of TurnTex Woodworks over the past several years. Our knife shop buys supplies and a chamber from him. When it came time to service the chamber because of its heavy use Curtis was quick to respond and support us with the o-ring we needed. When we needed advice on the right vacuum pump he pointed us in the right direction. He stands behind his products 100% and is knowledgeable and a good resource of information. We use his products quite a bit for wood we salvage locally for making knife scales and his products work great if you carefully follow his instructions. Best of all his cactus juice resin is not Highly toxic.

This stuff works great for stabilizing wood and the shipping is lightening fast.

I couldn't be happier with my order from Curtis.  Even though it was very small he treated me the same as if I ordered a truck load.  I'm just dipping my toes into stabilization and casting, but so far it is awesome!! You just have made a customer for life!!

Great product....shipped quick....no problems.  

I have been making knives for a long time and for stabilized wood I had one of two choices pay anywhere from $25 to $40 dollars a block or pay another company $16 dollars a pound after stabilizing to have it done. After researching this product and hearing good things I thought I would give it a try. The only problem I have had is wishing I had purchased it a long time ago. I have stabilized several types of wood with outstanding results. just with the first few things I've stabilized it paid for itself. As far as Turntex their customer service is second to none. When you place an order it ships fast and if you have any problem Curtis does whatever is necessary to make it rite and is quick to any questions you have. I couldn't ask for better service. Thank you Curtis for a great product and wonderful service. I wouldn't want to do business with anyone else.

I read about Cactus juice on Facebook and watched videos of it on youtube. I have a friend who makes knives and while steel is not my medium, I am great with wood. I learned about this product and the procedures for stabilizing wood and using Alumilite resin to fill in voids. Love this product easy to use, easy to clean up, works as advertised per the instruction. This has enabled me to make some lovely pieces of colored wood, anything I can imagine in fact.

Got my Cactus Juice between Christmas and New Years. Messaged Curtis with a question and he replied from his deer blind. If that's not quality service I don't know what is.

I have recently ordered Cactus Juice and the parts to build my own vacuum chamber. Turntex sent my order in a very short amount of time and I received everything in good shape. I highly recommend them, now I just have to get busy.

I decided to take the plunge and purchase a Stabilizing Chamber so I could learn how to create custom blanks for my customers. After watching the video on TurnTex Woodworks website I was sold, I've been looking a other systems but nothing looked as good as the one Curtis has built. I received the unit and couldn't wait to try it out, I read the instruction booklet that came with the chamber and followed every step and it worked perfectly. I am very pleased with the Stabilizing Chamber it is nothing short of the very best quality construction, when Curtis says he takes pride in the quality of his products he means every word. Second... shipping is always, and I mean it, always lightning fast.

I need a new stab chamber after mine died. Curtis came through quickly with a new one just in time to complete my Christmas orders. The new 6" chamber is incredible. I highly recommend the product and the man behind it!!! 

I was contemplating purchasing the needed equipment to stabilized wood for my pen turning. After reading many narratives and watching many videos on the subject I found myself more and more confused as to how to get started. Reviews said that Curtis at TurnTex was very knowledgeable so I called. Although there was no answer Curtis did call back as his web page said he would which was a very pleasant surprise. Curtis answered all my questions, including information about the products from TurnTex, without pressure to buy from them which I thought was almost unbelievable. Curtis was their to help and impart his knowledge. Because of this I placed my first order with him and hope to begin stabilizing some of my wood very soon! Feel like I purchased from an old friend!

I have been working in remodeling and restoration for 38 years now.  A significant portion of that career has been dedicated to the restoration of historic homes and public buildings.  The techniques I have developed for the stabilization and restoration of deteriorated architectural elements has served me well in my other business as well; I turn pieces of wood that most people would abandon into turned bowls and other items.  The surfaces of deterioration have always fascinated me; the stains, the crumbling waves of wood grain, the evidence left behind by insects.  I have used a great variety of epoxy products and processes and now I have found the best.  By completely drying the material then using vacuum to achieve complete penetration, Cactus Juice heat cured stabilizing resin produces results beyond anything else I have worked with.

I have been buying from TurnTex for a couple of years. Always super fast shipping and all orders have arrived in great shape. Anytime I have had questions I have gotten a reply quickly and always solved the problem. Just received the Oven Tamer II. What a great addition to my shop. If you are tired of cleaning blanks after stabilizing you should check this out. Now when I remove blanks from the oven there is very little bleed on the blanks and they are a lot easier to clean up. I think after using a couple of time that it probably has paid for itself in time saved. Thanks for everything.

For once I have a product that performs as advertised.  And the support is super.  I've stabilized several punky spalted maple bottle stopper and opener handles.  My first event as well as my last one all turned out great.  I'm amazed at how hard the wood becomes after it's stabilized.  My blanks are bigger than the ones described in the instruction sheet so I just soak them longer and cook them longer.  I think a key component in the process is having a good and constant oven.  I had a cheap table top convention oven and finally bought a good commercial grade oven instead.  Makes a world of difference.  Service has been great.  Curtis is just an email away and has provided very good advice.  I suggested to Curtis that they include hazard or harmful data about both the liquid and cured product.  Is it flammable or hazardous to breathe either from liquid fumes or fumes from the oven?  He said it was not but he should include that info in his product description.  Very happy. 

Turntex is my favorite place to get both stabilizing resin and alumilite.  Just a great experience each time i buy.

I am the new owner of a small CNC, the PocketNc 5 axis. My first parts were made in acrylic, and it smelled like hell in the shop. For a new project I am working on, we wanted very delicate wood parts. Luckily, I came across this "Stabilizing Solution". I am very impressed with the results. Wood is cutting nice, and is falling like dust. Some wood are better than other, but the overall result are impressive. The infused wood even sounds like a composite material, which it is, really. Higher frequency than normal wood. On my first run of vacuum, I didn't do the best possible job, but even then, I am getting very nice results. (didn't leave the parts in vacuum until ABSOLUTELY NO bubbles...) The part I am making is a pocket watch shell, with a wall thickness of about 1/16". So far so good. The finishing is very easy too. Parts made on the lathe needed no polishing to get a nice hand rub surface sheen... I didn't try the tincture, but will do very shortly. Service was great, I got my first class package in no time, and the packaging was good. And yes, the machine parts smell good. Believe me, that is no small detail... What is great about this: Wood is an amazing material that is tamed with this recipe. For small CNC machine projects, this is awesome!! I think all my future models will use wood. I didn't check the dimensional stability of the parts, but I trust it will be good... NO MORE PLASTICS!!

Well, Curtis is always looking to improve things and over time, he is reaching almost perfection (no one is perfect, huh?:))

His recent packaging of the gallon containers to Overseas destinations and I believe everywhere, with its sealed bags, is certainly given the product the best chance to stay contained in case of trouble.

The Cactus Juice itself has been very consistent in its results and performance and the slight better prices are indeed a bonus, thanks mate.

I just received a pint of your stabilizing liquid and just wanted to tell you it's amazing what this stuff can do. I stumbled on some rotten pecan wood and figured it may or may not work. Well not only did it work, it turned out amazing! I cast it in alumilite and turned it without any problems. No voids no cracks, just good looking stabilized wood. The only problem I have is that I didn't order enough! Keep up the great work and I look forward to being a long time customer.

I do a lot of Stabilizing . My favorite is Spalted Sycamore double  dyed blue and red I also do a lot of Spalted Maple. I've had nothing but a good experience using the dye's and Cactus Juice. I love turning the blanks I never know what going to pop out next.
