These guys are without a doubt the only people making a product that I can effectively and efficiently stabilize my burl and other woods with. Being new to the craft I initially tried spending a good deal of time looking for an alternative to their Cactus Juice, trying to save money being not quite ready to jump fully into the art of wood stabilization. All I did was waste money, wood, and most importantly, time. Do yourself the favor of not making the same mistake I did if you're new at this or considering giving it a try.

After watching some videos and doing some searching I decided to take the plunge. I wanted my vacuum pump to work for both a vacuum chuck and a vacuum chamber. I have put together my own systems and am a very happy camper. Cactus Juice is really a cool product and it has made some really weak but interesting pieces of wood into some of my best pens and bottle stoppers ever. 

The service has been impeccable and the product is everything it claims to be. I haven't had to call Mr. Seebeck about anything yet but if I did it would most likely be to say thank you.

Great company.... Package arrived well packed and on time. 

Instructions included were concise and complete. Plus a follow up email came a few days after to make sure I was satisfied.

Bought one of Curtis' chambers and the juice.  So far very pleased with it.   Blanks are set up just perfectly, beautiful finish even just with a sand to 1500 grit.

Thank you for giving me the freedom to make any color blank I want at any time. I might not have buy another acrylic blank again. My first pour with Alumilite white was a disaster ( MY FAULT!!! tried to mix base in 2 separate containers ), but my second was awesome. Again thank you for awesome product.

Being a novice at stabilizing wood, I felt I had a decent understanding of the overall process.  That is, up until a coworker filled my head with doubt about a certain process.  After calling the owner and emailing, I received a response in a very short time confirming that I was correct and not to listen to that other advice.

Good customer service?  YES

Expert knowledge about their product?  YES

Competitive pricing on a superior product? YES

Will I purchase again, and brag to fellow woodturners?  DEFINITELY

Would I recommend this product over others?  I don't consider other products to be in the same league (maybe not even in the same sport).

The metal rings are extremely nice.  I am going to need a better vacuum pump than a brake bleeder pump and a shut off valve to lock in the vacuum.  All in due time.  I have not cut the stabilized blank yet, but look forward to that.  I stabilized some burl to practice with first and that turned out to be a very good idea.  Thanks for your products.

Everything arrived in a very timely fashion, the order was correct, and very rarely these days do I ever do business with people who actually care about the customer, and the service they provide. I will be happy to do business with them again =)

I have been turning pens for about 10 years off and on.  Several years ago I cut down several Alaska Birch trees on my property. I have used a lot of it in my wood working and found it very easy to work, but it is pure white.  I wanted to add some color to it.  I left several logs outside to age and maybe get a little spalted, it worked.  Now I have rich spalted birch if I catch it before it rots.  I found I have a lot of spalted material that is too soft to turn.  I watched several YouTube videos on Cactus Juice so I decided to check it out.  I have found that shipping to Alaska is a mystery to many retailers.  They don't realize that Alaska is part of the USA and USPS ships here at normal flat rate charges, nothing extra just label it and ship it.  TurnTex knew this and shipped my order the day I ordered it and I got it 3 days later.  No fuss no muss.

The product it easy to use once you get the necessary equipment together.  Now I have several pen blanks that have beautiful spalting, that are hard as a rock, very easy to turn and polish great.  Then next step is to mix colored dye with the Cactus Juice to add more dynamic colors and figuring. 

I would highly recommend Cactus Juice because it is easy to use, it is non toxic, and products great results.  Turn Tex is a wonderful supplier with products on hand and fast and fair shipping.

I ordered some dyes for my cactus juice, and 15 minutes later I got the confirmation on shipping. Curtis is the prime example for customer service, and there are a lot of companies out there that could learn a thing or two from him.

I bought Vacuum Chamber and Cactus Juice from TurnTex. I have been more than satisfied. I visited the TurnTax place to learn the whole process. Curtis gave me time to completely make me understand the whole thing. Where required he repeated the demonstration. The stabilizer I ordered was shipped on the same day my order was placed! Curtis is very friendly, knowledgeable, & makes himself available to answer any questions you may have. I ordered the liquid stabilizer for my husband who is a hobby knife maker. 

I bought my first chamber from Curtis, I want to say 5 years ago and it has work and still is working perfectly. You do need to follow his direction to get the  results that you expect ,and if you do have any problems call Curtis , he will speak to you ,not some one in a third world country. I have a  new one on order only because it is time for an up grade.

I am so very happy that this is the first place I came when I started.  Shipping time and customer support is second to none, and the product itself is the only thing I will ever use.  Met the owner in Atlanta recently, and he took the time to explain everything about anything I had questions about.  This is the way people are suppose to treat their customers.  Would send anyone to TurnTex for anything.

I have ordered well over 200 gallons from you over the past two years(or so).  Every order has arrived ok except this last 12 gallons I ordered.   It is not you fault at all but one of the packages appeared to have been handled very rough and the caps to your 1 gallon bottles had both cracked and the safety seals had been slightly broken open.  I don't know how it made it through USPS transfer station because by the time I got it, the package was 50% soaked with stabilizer.  There was about 1-2 cups of resin that was caught in the protective bags that you use to encase the individual gallons.  Thankfully I was able to pour it back into the gallon containers and compare the levels to the undamaged gallon containers and there was no more than 1/4 cup missing per gallon.  I didn't think that 1/4 cup would effect the activator so I just used it anyways and it worked just fine.

I am not angry, just giving you feedback.  I think that if you used an electric powered bander to seal the bags, you will get a tighter seal compared to the zip ties you use.

My Comments:  Thank you for the suggestion.  I have tried a bag sealer in the past with less than satisfactory results that still leaked.  I found the twisted top with zip tie to seal better.  However, I did not have an industrial sealing machine.  I am looking at them now and you may very well see the change on future orders!

I have always had a positive experience dealing with or ordering from TurnTx. Prices are good and shipping is fantastic, he even uses the recyclable material in his shipping when he can, great Customer Service!

I have yet to use the product I ordered, cactus juice, but I have heard nothing but good things and is the reason I ordered it.  I can attest to the buying and shipping of the product was beyond satisfying.  I ordered it and it shipped the same day and I received on the second day after being shipped.  I am still waiting for a product I ordered through Amazon.  Looking forward in doing business with this company in the future.

very happy with your product and will be ordering more very soon and some Alumilite as well the cactus juice works great used it on some spalted maple and also dyed some as well.the dyed ones came out so well i will most likely dye 99% of every thing i do great product  thanks. 

CURTIS, you are the best, along with your product. Cactus Juice last until you use it all, simply put, and has never failed. Not even my best friends return my calls or messages at 2 and 3am. Anyone into stabilizing or casting that does not use TurnTex, simply don't know better,

I started with a quart, then a half gallon, then a gallon.  This order I got 2 gallons.  Cactus Juice does exactly what he says.  Not only do you get a great product but you get the expertise of Curtis along with it.

I am just getting into stabilizing wood blanks for my ink pens.  I haven't had a chance to use the product yet.  I can say that they provide very fast service even when the owner is away.  When I made my original order, two of the dyes were on back order so I put my email in to be notified when they were back in stock.  It didn't take very long for them to get some more and have it shipped to me.  I look forward to the many great things that will be achieved using their products!!

I've received my Stabilizing Chamber and am looking forward to using it to make sure stunning pieces of jewellery from stabilized wood and resin. The chamber was well packaged for international travel and all of the pieces arrived in tip top shape. I'm glad I made my purchase. Just a note to others if you're considering purchasing one that the suggested lead time may not be accurate. I contacted Curtis after waiting a few weeks longer than the suggested time and he assured me my order was in the queue, I just had to wait a little longer.

I don't often leave feedback.  However this company is the best!  Their shipping is fast and reasonable.  I called with a question and I actually received a phone call back.  I was treated courteously and with respect.  Their product is top notch and have already purchased 10 gallons of the cactus juice and 16lbs of the Alumilite.  I will be a long term customer for sure.
