Only resin I use to stabilize with. Have purchased multiple times.

I'm using the CJ on my rocks. I have a wide variety of rocks that I slab, cut, and polish. Most have minor fractures, and some have soft material mixed with the rock. I stabilize 80% of my rocks, so when I'm grinding or polishing my rocks, they don't break. I'm finding that the rock hardness is constant. The process is very easy, as I found on the YouTube channels. I buy direct and found the product gets shipped same day. The folks are great in helping you. Wish I would have known sooner. The folks at TurnTex are providing top notch customer service which complements the best stabilizing fluid on the market. Im a knife maker who uses entirely salvaged wood for handled. I have called TT several times to help me dial in the best methods for dealing with the varying wood types and moisture levels. Also helps that they ship fast.

I have been ordering from TrunTex for years. Every time the order is immediately shipped. There products are great. The vacuum chamber I purchased from them years ago is still like new. They are my go to for Catus Juice and Alumilite.

I learned about TurnTex products roughly 10 years ago, and have been using Cactus Juice ever since - excellent product and never a problem - it has always far exceeded Curtis’ claims regarding longevity…and yes I keep it in my garage fridge.

I used Curtis’ original vacuum chambers as inspiration to create my own chamber, glued together from 1/2” polycarbonate sheets, and have used it with much success. After years of using it, I noticed the walls of my homemade chamber were starting to show “crazing”, or what I take to be impending cracks - so I finally pulled the trigger on ordering a TurnTex 8” chamber.

OMG, I am so pleased and impressed! Without changing anything else, besides swapping out with your chamber and tubing, my vacuum went up more than a  whole additional inHg of vacuum depth - now just better than 29inHg. And I’m at 330ft altitude, so while not perfect, that is dang good! 

I am delighted with this purchase, Curtis, and very impressed with shipping speed…from yours to mine in Seattle in 5 days far exceeded my expectations.

This has completely rekindled my interest in dyeing and stabilization - I’m so glad I stopped waiting!

I am new to the process of Stabilizing Wood and It is great doing business with a company that has the support in place to help when needed. I was able to achieve excellent results on my first run of blanks. This is my second order of Cactus Juice, and I know it won’t be the Last.

When i need a Stabilizer for bowl turning I strictly use Cactus Juice from Turn Tex. It’s does a great job and I can find the best deals straight from the manufacturer.

I'm brand new to wood stabilizing and dying.  The products from TurnTex have been easy to use and the quality is fantastic!  Really nothing bad to say about my experience so far.  I still have much to learn to improve my results, but the information provided here makes that learning a low hurdle.

I've been using Cactus Juice for about 4 years to stabilize wood for knife handles. Cactus Juice also works extremely well on antlers; I've been able to save several pieces that I would have thrown away without stabilization. Recently I started using Cactus Juice for lathe turned goblets and bowls. The set up is simple and costs are low. Having Cactus Juice stabilization as a tool provides lots of interesting options. Cactus juice is an excellent stabilizer! I've tried 3 others and I like cactus juice the best. The new and improved formula penetrates deep and is crystal clear! I've stabilized pieces of maple that are 18"×9"×2¼"_ and gotten complete penetration (with cactus juice dye as well).  You won't be disappointed!

I needed advice regarding Curtis’s Cactus juice. Curtis answered my questions without rushing to finish the call. I called again later to follow up on something he advised me to try. I am very impressed on his customer service and you can tell he cares.

I have been making pens and doing various other turnings for awhile now and decided to try my hand at stabilizing. So, like always I headed to YouTube and sure enough almost every stabilizing video referenced Turntex in some way shape or form. Upon further research I went ahead and pulled the trigger on a vacuum chamber and some cactus juice. So far, the descriptive instructions that came with the chamber, along with the videos have made it pretty easy to get started. I’ve done a handful of pen blanks now, and currently have some knife scales in the chamber. Really impressed with the products and am excited to try out the dye stabilizing here in the near future. Curtis and crew seem to have their stuff together and I will be getting all my stabilizing (and eventually casting) products from them.

I'm a hobby knifemaker, and I use a bit over a gallon a year stabilizing scales. Your product is amazing, allowing me to use softer woods like redwood burl, and have great workability, and a stout knife handle when I'm finished.

 As soon as I received my gallon shipment, I added the catalyst and gave it a good shake, waited till morning and topped off my chamber. Back in the saddle!

First time I used it was for spalted pen blanks. Followed the direction and watched some you tube and had great results. Next I'm going to try some dye and then glue up layerd blanks.
