Just started using the Oven Tamer and it's a great product. It stays within one half of a degree of the set temperature. I found that it is best set up in a draft free area, as drafts from shop coolers, or fans fluctuate the oven temperature making it difficult for the Oven Tamer to stay set at the selected temperature. Curtis replied to an email question within two hours. Good customer service and a good product....

So far, everything I've ordered from you has fulfilled my expectations to 100%.

I have purchased cactus juice stabilizing resin three times from TurnTex and have achieved excellent results on pen blanks and knife scales.  On my first order, Curtis took the time to answer my initial questions by phone  to get me off to a good start with the process.   I enjoy doing business with TurnTex because I know expert advice is only a phone call away.  

bought the vacuum gauge and was surprised at the quality of this glycerin filled gauge, i am a hvac contractor and and very familiar with all manner of gauges and i can tell you this is the best value on the internet,,

I purchased some Cactus Juice and Alumilite from Curtis. The order was processed quickly and I received my products  within a few days. Being new to wood stabilizing I  needed some advise on purchasing a vacuum pump so I reached out to Curtis. He sent me a link to an in depth article that he wrote on vacuum pumps that answered all my questions and provided me with some valuable tips. First time ordering from turntex and all I can say is Curtis is the best.  Ordered enough stuff to start out and it arrived quickly.  Had some questions and messaged Curtis and he answered promptly.  Gotta say best customer service I have ever had.  Thank you Curtis and Turntex.  Will definitely be ordering again soon.  

The delivery time was great.  I got all the dyes and the stabilizer that I needed for my project in a couple of days.  

My order shipped out the same day, and they even read and responded to the comments I made on the order. Always good results with Cactus Juice and the dyes they sell for it. I wouldn't be able to do anything at all without the extensive help/faq section on the TurnTex website! And when all else fails, there is a fast reply either by online chat or email. A great company to do business with!

Excellent and speedy customer service

After Stabilizing 100 Pounds of Turquoise or so, I can say with great pleasure that this stuff WORKS.   Not often that I will endorse a Product, but this is an exception, I would recommend this to anyone looking to use it with Stabilizing Turquoise or any other Lapidary Application.

I used Cactus Juice last year (2017) and was very satisfied with the results.  It was easy to use and it stabilized my antler horns that I used for knife handles, and the hardness was very satisfactory.  I had no fears about the finished product and knew that my finished knife handles were very much superior to what I had previously produced.

 

I ordered Cactus Juice again this year and expect to receive the same high quality results.

In May I order some merchandise. My credit card was posted 25 May 18. I am still waiting on merchandise ordered and waiting on some type of communication as to when I can expect my merchandise.It is hard to contact Curtis, hard to get a return phone call when I can expect my merchandise. I hope we can do buisness in the future but will have to consider these factors in the near future. I understand being a small business. I too own a small business but cant get my products out waiting several months to recieve equipment. I get behind and loose money everyday without the equipment I ordered.

Looks to be well made and I’m sure it will serve me well.

Torn Tex is tops in service, (shipping, product availability, information, reliability, the whole kit and the kaboodle too!  I've been dealing with Curtis for over 3 years and have never had ANY problems of any kind. Also, I have called him a "few"xx's times and he always ha san answer or tries to get one asap. More companies need to take notice of how to run a business the PROPER way. Just wanted to say how pleased I was recently when I dealt with the folks at Turntex. I had a self-induced problem with the vacuum/stabilizing system and Turntex straightened it out. For all you wood stabilizers out there, do not attempt to stabilize wood on very hot days!

Shipping took 6 days to New Zealand and was well packaged.

Cost of shipping almost doubles the price of the product.

Would be good to find a cheaper shipping option and it wouldn't matter if it took longer to arrive. 

My comment:  I would love to find a cheaper shipping option myself.  If you know of any, please let me know.  I offer the cheapest shipping options that I know of after doing lots of research.  Even slower methods are not much cheaper and do not provide any tracking information which is a must.

I haven't had a chance to use it yet but the price was good the sizes right and 2 day shipping to get it across the nation was great thanks

I had ordered a gallon of cactus juice off amazon (they were not a registered supplier) and did not receive the activator with the order. I reached out to Curtis and got his advice on how to resolve the situation. Curtis was extremely helpful and cared about my situation. Apon ordering through the TurnTex website, I recived my cactus juice, activator, and an additional bottle of activator for my unusable amazon order. Expecting to pay, I was greatly impressed to see the packing slip with the additional bottle, next to it was a note "No charge my friend". You can't match the kind of customer service you will recieve from Curtis and his team.

My recent order for juice dye was delivered promptly as hoped. With about 500 pounds of spalted maple burl to work with, I'm looking forward to turning a variety of unusual items. Violet has already provided me an evening shadows over a mountain range. Looking forward to storms created with teal green. Thanks to Turnex for providing the varieties to work with.   

Turntex is the best when it comes to stabilizing. The products are great and Curtis is always willing to help figuring out the process and issues that come up. I have been suing Cactus juice for about 3 years now and love it.

I've ordered the half gallon twice and the shipping is amazing, 2 days, both times.

The product works well, just wished it wasn't so pricey, but you usually get what you pay for and I've tried lesser costing products and had lesser results.

Normally it take some time to ship to Norway, but the order (Cactus Juice ) appeared at my doorstep in less than a week! Must have been expedited just minutes after the order was received. 

 

What  will Curtis not do for you!!!!   i made a big mistake and ruined by chamber...Not only did he tell me what i did wrong, he provided be with a replacement chamber at a great price!  PLUS he upgraded my connecting hose at no charge!  tell me of another company that will do that for their customers!   Curtis, you are the best!!!!
