Thi resin works amazingly well! Even had temperatures in the negatives and it worked flawlessly. Shipping was fast and the package undamaged. Couldn't be happier. Well unless it was a bit less money... BUT WELL WORTH THE INVESTMENT!

I've just run my second batch of knife handle scales using the over tamer to both dry out the raw wood blanks and then cure the blanks after they are processed (vac and soak).  The oven tamer holds within 0.5 degrees to the target temperature all all times even in my Amazon cheapo toaster over.  You can now cure blanks at a more precise temperature and get less bleed out making your life much easier when you are unwrapping the foil after curing.  I highly recommend the oven tamer, its very nice construction and has a very professional look.  I think my toaster over without the tamer was running in a 20-25 degree swing high to low from the target based on my measurements.

Whatban awesome experience. As a relatively new pen turner all my questions and concerns were answered within 6 hours. The products were shipped the same day and were at my door 2 days later. The alumilite dyes are really vibrant concentrated. I will purchase from this business again. 

I have placed several orders for Cactus Juice over the last 8 or nine years and it is always a quick and easy transaction. I ordered my last gallon on 1/15/19 at 21:30. It shipped on 1/16 at 10:45. Great service. Great product. I'll be back for more!

I always get a little nervous order stuff like this through the mail because I'm afraid of it getting damaged and breaking open, but  they really took great care to make sure that wouldn't happen. My CJ shipped quickly and painlessly and arrived safely. The stabilization process only seems intimidating, but after watching the video and reading through their support section, I was ready to go. They also have a very active Facebook group that Curtis personally monitors and posts to. Added bonus: he keeps it spam free. I did a lot of research on stabilizing before jumping in and now that I'm doing it, it's a blast! I chose TurnTex based on the recommendation of a lot of YouTubers that I trust (Zac Higgins et al) and because it cures clear and won't tint the wood. That you're supporting an actual small business that in turn supports their product is a bonus.

 

Cons: you'll be looking around for what else you can stabilize.

This was my second order of Cactus Juice from TurnTex. I got a smaller bottle the first time, but was so happy with the results and long shelf life of the product, I went for a 2-gallon order. I have used the Cactus Juice with Alumilite dyes to double-dye some burl for turning. I have been very happy with the results. Shipping was fast, and product was well packaged. I’ve Done business with Mr. Seebeck on several occasions.

after having to stop my wood working do to some family illnesse.I had a couple of gallons of un mixed Cactus juice that had been sitting for around two years.

I contacted Mr. Seebeck asking if I need to purchase new activator.  

He informed me it was good for 3 years un Activated As long as it was stored correctly.  I like & respect him for not trying to sell me stuff I don’t need.

 

I set up a new chamber and ordered new hoses & valves along with a new Vacuum gauge. It shipped fast and in perfect condition.

 

there are many knock offs & copycats out there but you won’t get the quality workmanship , Shared knowledge or  customer Service anywhere .  Curtis has my business as long as I’m stabilizing & casting.

This is just too easy . I have just received my second order of cactus juice and with following the directions on the website have been having a blast creating some wonderful knife scales. my advise for beginners like myself , take that first gallon and experiment with small batches and different colors and follow the directions any questions I have had I have found the answers on this wonderful website
