Very happy Canadian knife maker ! have been looking for stabilizing solution for a while not much info or products for Canadians out there . took the jump and am very happy, I got alumilite and dye as well , shipping was fast and had no problems ! will order larger amounts knowing that had no problems getting it up here in Canada.     Thanks Curtis 

To say I am thrilled with this item would be an understatement.  I tried a different product I got off Amazon and was not happy with it.  I casually mentioned the Oven Tamer to Curtis while talking about a Cactus Juice order and he built me one within a day.  Setting up it was super simple, hook it up to the oven, plug it it and push one button and wait.  A half hour later it was ready.  It is amazingly accurate.  The oven by itself stayed in a 50 degree range, with the Amazon product it stayed in a 30 degree range.  With the Oven Tamer set at 200 degrees it dropped as low as 199.1 degrees and soared to 200.9 degrees.  I admit one time it did get to 201.3 degrees but only once. 

I go through a minimum of 4 gals of Alumilte Slow a month. I love this product. I buy the 80#. Curtis and his team ship out immediately and it always arrives in great condition and within a couple days. Curtis can answer any question you could possibly have and is always very courteous. In my opinion Alumilite Slow if the best product fo resin casting. Processes quickly, turns great. The price point when you buy the 80# is fantastic. Thanks a lot! Sue Meyers

The intro is really all I need to say, service was great, and my order was processed very quickly, I was immediately impressed, as I was very excited to get my hands on some cactus juice and give it a try. Since receiving it I have had a great time learning to stabilize different things, and I will have my first knives made with self-stabilized wood and hybrid wood scales finished in the next few days! 

Bought a chamber and some resin. Was late coming out but once it got to me, I was pleased. Only tried it twice so far but as best I can tell it’s a sturdy, good quality system with great instructions. 

The product was packed well and delivered in an incredibly fast time from my perspective. Glad the dyes were bagged in a plastic bag though. The lids were loose on several bottles packed as a group in one bag. As a result, the dyes leaked out a little( not huge loss) but enough to coat inside of bag and require a clean up. Might benefit from adding a foil seal to bottles to avoid leaks. Glad they wash off in water. Was able to begin learning and experimenting over the weekend. Plan on ordering more as time goes by. Thank you. 

My Comments:  This was for Alumilite Dyes which we are just a retailer of and do not package ourselves.  Unfortunately we have no control over how they are bottled.

I have ordered Alumilite from several places. You without a doubt are the fastest to respond. Also packed better than the others. I have had a couple of issues of leakage with other companies. Not you. You have a life time customer in me. Thanks again.

About 2 weeks ago, I ordered Alumilite Clear Slow from TurnTex.  The materials arrived quickly and well-packed.  The invoice had a handwritten Thank You, which is a lovely touch in this day & age.

The product worked exactly as advertised. What I really appreciated was the personal interest on how successful I was in using the cactus juice. I would highly recommend TurnTex to anyone wanting to stabilize wood for their projects.

I just purchased a unit to do knife handles (scales) and just love the stabilized wood it produces. Prior to this I was using Min Wax stabilizer in a homemade mason jar vac and Mityvac, it was a real pain and I could not really get a good vacuum and full penetration of the scales this way.  The TurnTex unit makes it very easy to work with during glue up and assembly of my knives.  I did have to figure out how to mark/tag the wood scales so I know what type of wood it is once it comes out of the vac chamber, pencil and markers do not survive the juice and vacuum cycle, so I now use a automatic center punch set to light punch and press dots in the end of the scales, then do a list of what mark is what wood.  You do have to be careful with brittle woods so you dont get an end grain split, but this works great.  I'm very happy with my purchase and the high quality of the unit.

Reodered some Alumilite and Casters Choice. Got in just a couple of days of placing the order. Great customer service. Always willing to answer questions, share techniques and offer advice. 

I used several colors today on an epoxied tumbler. Instructions would have been nice on needing to cut tops of bottles off to get to product (hands a bit stained). Mixed easily into epoxy and went on smoothly. I will need to play with ratios to decrease translucency. Will order more colors soon.

TurnTex is fast at processing your orders and shipping is fast about a week form day I order to when I have it in my possession . Have had some good results with cactus juice turning spalted birch makes the wood very hard great for turning bowls .

Just started using the Oven Tamer and it's a great product. It stays within one half of a degree of the set temperature. I found that it is best set up in a draft free area, as drafts from shop coolers, or fans fluctuate the oven temperature making it difficult for the Oven Tamer to stay set at the selected temperature. Curtis replied to an email question within two hours. Good customer service and a good product....

So far, everything I've ordered from you has fulfilled my expectations to 100%.

I have purchased cactus juice stabilizing resin three times from TurnTex and have achieved excellent results on pen blanks and knife scales.  On my first order, Curtis took the time to answer my initial questions by phone  to get me off to a good start with the process.   I enjoy doing business with TurnTex because I know expert advice is only a phone call away.  

bought the vacuum gauge and was surprised at the quality of this glycerin filled gauge, i am a hvac contractor and and very familiar with all manner of gauges and i can tell you this is the best value on the internet,,
